Thallus verrucose, verrucae above black or dark blue-black hypothallus, dispersed, commonly rounded, convex, 0.2-0.6 millim. wide, white or whitish, smooth, CaCl2O2 reacts neither above nor within, KHO yellow and then red above and within.  Medulla I blue.  Gonidia cystococcus, globose, membrane moderately thick.

Apothecia placed between areoles on hypothallus, 0.4-0.8 millim. broad, disc minutely plane or eventually convex, black, naked, opaque, margin moderately thin, concolourous.  Excipulum dirty green/greenish-blue-black.  Hypothecium ruddle-dark brown/grayish-brown or dark brown/grayish-brown-black.   Epithecium dirty green/greenish-blue-black, KHO-.  Spores 8, distichous, 1-septate, middle often moderately constricted, initially hyaline, then dirty green/greenish-blue-black, membrane more unequally, moderately thick, gelatinous layer 0.002-0.003 millim. thick, 0.024-0.032 long, 0.012-0.015 millim. thick.  Gonidia cystococcus.—Habit entirely similar to L. eupetraea Nyl., its spores are different.

On gneiss rock in southern mountains placed towards Jinretlen peninsula.
