New York State Museum Lichen Collection (NYS)The Lichen Herbarium of the New York State Museum serves to document the lichens of New York State and is especially rich in materials from Long Island and the Adirondacks. There are over 12,000 collections, including specimens from Charles H. Peck, Roy Latham, Stanley J. Smith, Irwin M. Brodo, and Claire K. Schmitt.
